At 1 p.m. Saturday, the Lycoming County Genealogical Society, will host Wayne Palmer, of Palmer Multimedia Imaging.
Palmer will present the program, "Preserving Your Past Today," and explain the latest technologies available for preserving old photographs.
He also will demonstrate what can be done with digital images of our ancestors, repairing and preserving them for present enjoyment.
Palmer will discuss the options for saving photographs and images for future generations.
As a possibility of a future workshop, Palmer will show members the computer program Photoshop Elements 10 and explain "how it works."
The program is free, open to the public and will be held in the Community Room at the Thomas T. Taber Museum, 858 W. Fourth St.
