Mr. and Mrs. Gerald "Jerry" Wright, Williamsport, observed their 60th wedding anniversary March 8, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Harold A. Ahalt at First Lutheran Church, Watsontown.
They are members of Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wright, the former Connie M. McClintock, is a native of Dewart. She is the daughter of the late Louise McClintock. She graduated from the former Watsontown High School, now Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, in 1951. She is employed by Lawyer Harder, Watsontown, and Loyalsock Township School District as a secretary.
Mr. Wright, a native of Watsontown, is the son of the late Abby and Frank Wright. He graduated from Watsontown High School in 1949 and served in the Navy. He is employed by Acme Markets as a meat cutter and department manager.
They are the parents of a son, Frank, Montoursville, and a daughter, Cynthia Harrison, Shavertown.
There are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family celebration was held March 11 at the Watson Inn in Watsontown.
