Announcement has been made of the engagement of Janel Nicole Deitrick and Jeremy Steck Brown, both of Williamsport.
An April 28 wedding at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Williamsport, is being planned.
Deitrick is the daughter of Debra and Leonard Deitrick, Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1999 and received a bachelor's degree in marketing from University of Pittsburgh in 2003. She is employed by Primus Technologies Corp., Williamsport, as a customer service representative.

Brown is the son of Beatrice and Harold Brown, Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1993. He is employed by the City of Williamsport in law enforcement. He served in the Marine Corps from 1993 to 1997.
