Team to hold 2 fundraisers
St. Michael's Angels of the Relay For Life of Williamsport will conduct two fundraisers:
An electronics recycling event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon April 20 and 21 in the Hoss's Steak and Sea House parking lot, 1954 E. Third St. The team will be accepting televisions, computers, printers and electronic games. Refrigerators, microwaves, washers, dryers or stoves will not be accepted. For a donation to the American Cancer Society, the items will be unloaded from your car.
A community yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27 and 28 in the Quiggleville Community Hall, along Route 973 West. Pies and lunch also will be available for sale.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny to benefit Children's Miracle Network
SELINSGROVE - A special Easter Bunny Breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m., March 31 at Applebee's to benefit Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger.
The cost is $6 per person and includes all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage links and your choice of orange juice, coffee, tea or soda. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their camera to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny during the event.
The event supports the 94KX Cares For Kids Radiothon, which benefits Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger.
The funds raised by this event will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Janet Weis Children's Hospital and throughout Geisinger Health System.
