Announcement has been made of the engagement of Vanessa Marie Greider and Matthew David Taylor, both of Jersey Shore.
An Oct. 27 wedding at Crossroads Community Church, Jersey Shore, is being planned.
Greider is the daughter of Donna and Jeffrey Greider, Linden. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2004 and received an associate degree in radiography from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2007. She is employed by Susquehanna Health, Williamsport Regional Medical Center, as a radiographer.

Taylor is the son of Maureen and David Taylor, Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1994. He is employed by J and J Services, Hughesville, as a sanitation engineer and also by the Montoursville Area School District as a security guard.
