Announcement has been made of the engagement of Vanessa Leone and Timothy Parker, both of Fayetteville, N.C.
A June 30 wedding at Gates Four Country Club, Fayetteville, is being planned.
Leone is the daughter of Jeannie and Ken Leone, Lawrenceville. She graduated from Williamson High School, Tioga, in 2002. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mansfield University in 2006 and a master's degree in early literacy from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, in 2010. She is employed by Sampson County Schools, Clinton, N.C., as a second grade teacher.

Parker is the son of Shelda and Edward Parker, Roseboro, N.C. He graduated from Lakewood High School, Salemburg, N.C., in 1996 and attended Fayetteville Technical College. He is employed by T.D. Plumbing Services, Fayetteville, as a service technician.
