Announcement has been made of the engagement of Carolyn Evans and Timothy Workinger, both of York.
A Sept. 22 wedding in York is being planned.
Evans is the daughter of Susan and Raymond Evans, Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Bloomsburg University in 2007. She is employed by the Hampton Inn, York, as a sales manager.

Workinger is the son of Cindy and Gary Workinger, York. He graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from York College in 2006. He is employed by Heritage Hills Golf Resort, York, as director of finance.
