Strobel's Sewing Center, 201 Basin St., has announced the following classes:.
1 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 24, March 2, 9, 16 - Basic Quiliting Skill class with instructor Ann Weaver. Participants will learn to make one block for the first three sessions and the fourth will show how to make and finish setting triangles.
6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 28 - Unfinished Project Night with instructor Ann Weaver. Participants are asked to bring their machine, an unfinished project and directions for assistance in completing it. Class participants are asked to call ahead to let Strobel's know what they need help with.
6 to 8:30 p.m. March 5, 19 - Dear Jane Quilters class. Participants will gather to strip piece of a replica of the Jane A. Stickle quilt from 1863. Call to register.
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 6 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 7 - Floral Bouquet Quilt Class with instructor Ann Weaver. Participants will use a jelly roll to make a single bed size quilt.
1 to 3:30 p.m. March 12 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 26 - Women of Influence Block of the Month. This class will include strip piecing and hand applique.
