Mr. and Mrs. Louis Paternostro, Williamsport, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 17, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Alphonsus Manley at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church.
Mrs. Paternostro, the former Jean Marie Santalucia, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Teresa and Antonio Santalucia. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1952, and is a homemaker.
Mr. Paternostro, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Enis and Angelo Paternostro. He graduated from St. Mary High School in 1946 and received a bachelor's degree from Lycoming College. He served in the Army from 1946 to 1949 and retired from Loyalsock Township School District after 20 years of service.
They are the parents of three sons, Mark, Morgantown, W.Va.; Andrew, Charleston, W.Va.; and Patrick, North Canton, Ohio. There are five grandchildren.
