Amanda S. Ireland and Adam Quinton, both of Williamsport, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.

The Rev. Rick Waters officiated at the ceremony held at First Church.

A rehearsal dinner and reception were held at DuBoistown Fire Hall Social Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Lou Ann and Robert Ireland, Cogan Station. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2001. She received a bachelor's degree in office information systems with a minor in accounting in 2005 and a master's degree in instructional technology in 2006, both from Bloomsburg University. She is employed by Penn State World Campus, State College, as an instructional designer.

Quinton is the son of Wendy and Larry Quinton, Elysburg, and the late Jane Quinton. He graduated from Southern Columbia High School, Elysburg, in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in health physics from Bloomsburg University in 2007. He is employed by Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a health physicist.

Matron of honor was Kristin Bittner, Mount Joy.

Bridesmaids were Heather Pipech, Muncy, and Robyn Smelko, Coudersport, both sisters of the bride.

Flower girl was Estella Smelko, Coudersport, niece of the bride.

Best man was Kevin Major, Charlotte, N.C.

Ushers were Spencer Bittner, Mount Joy, and Lance Bittner, Marietta.

Following a trip to Niagara Falls and Seneca Lake, the couple is residing in Williamsport.
