Mr. and Mrs. James Briggs Darling, Trout Run and Titusville, Fla., observed their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 20, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. John W. Guyer at First United Methodist Church, Wellsboro. They are members of Faith United Methodist Church, Montoursville, and the Great Outdoors Church, Titusville.
Mrs. Darling, the former Beulah Laura Campbell, is a native of Wellsboro. She attended Wellsboro schools and is a volunteer church secretary at Great Outdoors Church during the winter months.

Mr. Darling is a native of Wellsboro. He attended Wellsboro schools; the former Mansfield State Teachers College, now a university; and Penn State University. He retired as agency manager for Nationwide Insurance Co. after 35 years of employment.
They are the parents of two daughters, Lucinda "Cindy" Naugle, Montoursville, and Pamela Olvany, Muncy; and two sons, Kevin, Cogan Station, and James Brian, Salt Lake City, Utah. There are seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
