Announcement has been made of the engagement of Mary L. Hetzel and Jason S. Bump, both of Liberty.
A June 16 wedding in Blossburg is being planned.
Hetzel is the daughter of Natalie and Donald Hetzel, Liberty. She graduated from Liberty High School in 2008 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in history from Mansfield University. She is employed by Lowe's Home Improvement, Mansfield.

Bump is the son of Frank Bump, Wellsboro, and Donna Woods, Seymour, Tenn. He graduated from Wellsboro Area High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Mansfield University in 2009. He is employed by Lowe's Home Improvement.
