Announcement has been made of the engagement of Amanda Susan Updegraff and Peter Michael Frikker, both of Warner Robbins, Ga.
An Oct. 6 wedding at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church is being planned.
Updegraff is the daughter of Susan and Marshall Updegraff, Nisbet. She graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in communication media from Lock Haven University in 2007. She is employed by EnvyTan Inc., Fort Valley, Ga., as a director of social media.

Frikker is the son of Lorraine and Peter Frikker, Montoursville. He graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 2002 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006. He is employed by Little League International as a southeastern region assistant director.
