Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Barto, Hughesville, observed their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 24, 2011.
They were married in Muncy and are active members of Mount Zion Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Barto, the former Betty J. Taylor, is the daughter of the late Blanche and Anson Taylor. She retired from Philips E.C.G. Corp. in 1994.

Mr. Barto is the son of the late Hazel and Jacob Barto. He retired from Schnadig Corp. in 1994.
They are the parents of two children, Rodney Barto and Deborah Myers, both of Hughesville. There are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner was held at Country Cupboard Restaurant, Lewisburg.
