Thompson-Degros

Annie Elizabeth Thompson and Jurgen Degros, both of Hoboken, N.J., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.

They were married by the Rev. Shane L. Kirby at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Annunication Church.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the Peter Herdic House and a reception was held at DiSalvo's Restaurant.

The bride is the daughter of Lynette and Timothy J. Thompson, Williamsport. She graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 1996 and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Edinboro University in 2000. She is employed by Booz and Co., New York City, as a staffing manager.

Degros is the son of Jean Degros and Viviane Mas, Lint, Belgium. He graduated from Sint Gummarus College, Lier, Belgium, in 1993 and received a master's degree in commercial engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, in 1999. He is employed by Ally Financial Inc., New York City, as a senior treasury manager.

Matron of honor was Ashley Blaschak Stout, Ashburn, Va.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Hobbs and Christine Hoelscher, both of Baltimore, and Christina Gresko, South Williamsport, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Julia Stetts, South Williamsport, cousin of the bride.

Ring bearer was Landon Stetts, South Williamsport, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Gunter Van de Velde, Lint, Belgium.

Ushers were Kurt Daschot, Kessel-Lo, Belgium, Maarten Cannaerts, Meensel-Kiezegem, Belgium, and Nathan Thompson, Annapolis, Md., brother of the bride.

Following a trip to Thailand and Hong Kong, the couple is residing in Hoboken, N.J.
