Announcement has been made of the engagement of Molly Lang Osborn and Robert "Bobby" Lee Dean Jr., both of Washington, D.C.
A May 11 wedding at Hatteras Island, N.C., is being planned.
Osborn is the daughter of Nina and William Osborn, Williamsport. She graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in American studies from Dickinson College, Carlisle, in 2008. She is pursuing a master's degree in sports industry management at George-town University, Washington, D.C., where she is employed as the associate director of development.

Dean is the son of Karen and Bob Dean, Charlotte, N.C. He graduated from Providence High School, Charlotte, N.C., in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, in 2008. He is employed by Energy Practice, Navigant Consulting, Washington, D.C., as a senior consultant.
