Capt. Daniel Hilty officiated at the ceremony held at the Sons of Italy picnic grounds.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the Blue Chimney Restaurant, Mill Hall, and a reception was held at the Sons of Italy picnic grounds.

The bride is the daughter of Verna M. Ludwig, Antes Fort, and the late Clifford C. Merrifield Jr. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 1991.
Bower is the son of Debra Donahay, Lamar, and Stephen P. Bower Sr., Lock Haven.
Maid of honor was Angel McLaughlin, Williamsport.
Bridesmaids were Rebecca Knepley, Williamsport, Jessica Nyman, Allenwood, and Tyla Bower, Lock Haven, daughter of the bridegroom.
Best man was Scott Andrus, Mill Hall.
Ushers were Raymond Young, Mill Hall, Derek Rippey, Rote, and Austin Crissman, Lock Haven, nephew of the bridegroom.
Following a trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple is residing in Lock Haven.
