Mr. and Mrs. Tom Waldman, South Williamsport, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 14, 2011.
They were married at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Montoursville, and are members of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, South Williamsport.
Mrs. Waldman, the former Louise Dunne, is a native of Boston, Mass. She is the daughter of the late Marion and John Dunne. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1960. She is employed by South Williamsport Area School District as a teacher's aid.

Mr. Waldman, a native of Jersey Shore, is the son of the late Eleanor and George Waldman. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1954 and served in the Navy for four years. He retired from Textron in 1997.
They are the parents of a daughter, Denise Frey, Montoursville, and two sons, Tom and Scott, South Williamsport. There are of seven grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family dinner was held Oct. 20.
