Mr. and Mrs. Bernard J. Kiessling Sr., Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Williamsport, observed their 45th wedding anniversary Oct. 8, 2011.
They were married by Judge Howard Ebner in Williamsport.
The couple were members of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Williamsport.

Mrs. Kiessling, the former Kathleen L. Levengood, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Mary and Ed Levengood. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1967. She was employed by Whittaker Cooper Financial Group, Melbourne, as an administrative assistant. While living in Williamsport, she was employed by E. Hille - Angler's Supply House for 20 years.
Mr. Kiessling, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Norma and John Kiessling. He graduated from the former Williamsport Technical Institute, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1966. He is employed by Magnus Hi-Tech Industries, Melbourne, as a labor operator. While living in Williamsport, he was employed by Plankenhorn Stationery Co. as a printer for 35 years.
They are the parents of a son, Bernard J. Jr., and a daughter, Brenda J. Scoh, both of Williamsport. There are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a celebration with friends and family was held during a recent trip to Williamsport.
