Mr. and Mrs. Galen H. Jackson, Roaring Branch, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 6, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Woodrow J. Klinger at Frieden's Lutheran Church, Liberty. They are members of Ogdensburg Church of Christ, Roaring Branch.
Mrs. Jackson, the former Gladys Marie Forer, is a native of Liberty. She is the daughter of the late Estella M. and Lee A. Forer Sr. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1951. She retired in 1992 from the U.S. Postal Service, Roaring Branch, as a post office clerk.

Mr. Jackson, a native of Ogdensburg, is the son of the late Viola C. and H. Tracy Jackson. He graduated from Canton High School in 1948. He retired in 1994 as a self-employed dairy farmer in the Roaring Branch area.
They are the parents of a son, Dale R., Roaring Branch, and a daughter, Bonnie M. Crandall, Canton.
