Helbley-Polk

Taryn L. Helbley and Justin M. Polk were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011.

The Rev. Lynn Wheeler officiated at the ceremony held at Community Baptist Church, Montoursville.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the Villa and a reception was held at the Holiday Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Tanis and John Helbley, Swissdale. She graduated from Central Mountain High School, Mill Hall, in 2001 and Lock Haven University in 2005. She is employed by Northwest Human Services as a therapeutic support staff.

Polk is the son of Luann and Carleton Polk, Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2001 and is employed by Lycoming Bakery as a route vendor.

Matron of honor was Alyssa Andrews, Williamsport, sister of the bride.

Maid of honor was Carolyn Shade, Lock Haven.

Bridesmaid was Heather Gummo, State College, sister of the bridegroom.

Flower girls were Avery and Kelsey Gummo, State College, nieces of the bridegroom.

Ring bearer was Coleton Andrews, Williamsport, nephew of the bride.

Best man was Al Taylor, Montoursville.

Ushers were Rob Andrews, Williamsport, brother-in-law of the bride, and Jake Gummo, State College, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.

Following a trip to Atlantic City, N.J., the couple is residing in Swissdale.
