Emily Christine McKenzie, Huntersville, and Lucas Murray Backman, Westland, Mich., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011.
The Rev. Joshua Wilhite officiated at the ceremony held at Bible Baptist Church, Huntersville.
A rehearsal dinner was held at The Lodge and a reception was held at the Watson Inn, Watsontown.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Robert and Lynda McKenzie, Huntersville. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 2008 and received an associate degree in the office professional program from Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, in 2010. She is employed by Probility Physical Therapy as a secretary and receptionist.
Backman is the son of David and Carrie Backman of Westland, Mich. He graduated from John Glenn High School, Westland, in 2007, and received a bachelor's degree in pastoral studies from Baptist Bible College in 2010. He is employed by Davco Technology as a buyer.
Maid of honor was Katelynn Griess, Huntersville.
Matron of honor was Jeana McKenzie, Blakely, sister-in-law of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Missy Wilson, East Smithfield; Janelle Reichenbach, State College; Bethany Howell, Jersey Shore; and Alissa Fischetti, Williamsport.
Flower girls were Anya McKenzie, Burlington, Vt., cousin of the bride, and Sarah Hampton, Montoursville.
Ring bearer was Jacob Beer, Burlington, Vt., cousin of the bride.
Best man was David Backman, Westland, Mich., father of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen were Robby McKenzie, Blakely, brother of the bride; Vinnie Deluca, Plymouth, Mich.; Jim Alleman, Canton, Mich.; Dan McDonald, Mapleshade, N.J.; and Tim Radcliff, Quakertown.
Following a trip to the Cayman Islands, the couple is residing in Plymouth, Mich.
