Melinda Lea Hillyard and Randolph Joseph Benway, both of Montoursville, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011.

The Rev. Matthew Meeder officiated at the ceremony held at Four Friends Vineyard and Winery, Montgomery, where a rehearsal dinner and reception also were held.

The bride is the daughter of James F. and Kathryn A. (Curry) Hillyard, Pennsdale. She graduated from Muncy High School in 1993 and attended Pennsylvania College of Technology and Misericordia University, Dallas, Pa. She is employed by PPL Electric Utilities, Montoursville, as a facilities management technician I; Sharpe Designs Screen Printing, Montoursville, as an office manager; and also is a Mary Kay consultant.

Benway is the son and stepson of Ben and Faith Benway, Woolrich, and son and stepson of Patricia and Donald Betz, Muncy and the Villages, Fla. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1980 and received certification in electrical construction from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1982. He is employed by IBEW Local Union 812, Montoursville, as a journeyman electrician, and also is the owner of Sharpe Designs Screen Printing. He served in the Army Reserves from 1979 to 1991 and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Matron of honor was Heather A. Dick, Stanhope, N.J., sister of the bride.

Bridesmaid was Cindy L. Hillyard, Williamsport, aunt of the bride.

Junior bridesmaid was Bailey Bowen, Muncy, niece of the bridegroom.

Readings were done by Dina Wascher, Cogan Station.

Flower girls were Kelsey and Marley Bowen, Muncy, nieces of the bridegroom.

Ring bearer was Jacoby Benway, Williamsport, nephew of the bridegroom.

Best man was Matthew D. Benway, Hughesville, son of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Darrin Wascher, Cogan Station, and James Clabaugh, South Williamsport.

Following a trip to Runaway Bay, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Montoursville.
