Lisa Brooks, Parma Heights, Ohio, and Doug Ott, Westlake, Ohio, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011.

The Rev. Matthew Darrin officiated at the ceremony held at Montrose Zion United Methodist Church, Akron, Ohio.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Hilton Akron Fairlawn, Akron, Ohio, where a reception also was held.

The bride is the daughter of Mona and Dennis Brooks, Lock Haven. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School. She received an associate degree in hotel and motel management from Central Pennsylvania College, Enola, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University. She is employed by American Greetings, Cleveland, Ohio, as an account executive.

Ott is the son of Nancy and Raymond Ott, Massillon, Ohio. He graduated from Perry High School, Massillon, Ohio, and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. He is employed by Middough Inc., Cleveland, Ohio, as a project accountant.

Matron of honor was Laurie Painter, Elverson, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Angie Boyd, Strongsville, Ohio; Lori Marracino, Alexandria, Va.; Linda Graham, Harrisburg; and Jennifer Gross, Mechanicsburg.

Best man was Christopher Sherman, Massillon.

Groomsmen were Mark Ott, Massillon, brother of the bridegroom; Ethan Silverthorn, Akron, Ohio; Buck Byers, Copley, Ohio; and Drew Polony, Massillon.

Following a trip to Aruba, the couple is residing in Parma Heights.
