Mr. and Mrs. John M. Lewis observed their 30th wedding anniversary Aug. 8, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. Paul Henry at Hoffman United Methodist Church, Wallis Run, where they are members.
Mrs. Lewis, the former Pamela Michael, is a native of Wallis Run. She is the daughter of Laura Michael and the late Melvin Michael. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1977 and received an associate degree in broadcasting communication from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology. She is employed by Montoursville Area School District as a para-professional at Loyalsock Valley Elementary School.
Mr. Lewis, a native of Williamsport, is the son of Leah Lewis and the late Harold Lewis. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1971. He is employed by STEP Inc. as in-house maintenance.
They are the parents of two daughters, Jessica and Jennifer.
In honor of their anniversary, a family dinner, hosted by their daughters and future son-in-law, was held.
