Announcement has been made of the engagement of Karen Steppe and Thomas E. Spreaing Jr., both of Reedsville.
A Sept. 17 wedding at Oval United Methodist Church, Jersey Shore, is being planned.
Steppe is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Steppe, Nisbet. She graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 1988.
Spreaing is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Spearing Sr. He graduated from Kishacoquillas High School, Reedsville, in 1984 and is employed by Eby Paving, State College.
