Mr. and Mrs. George E. Naugle, Montoursville, will observe their 65th wedding anniversary May 30, 2011.
They were married by the Rev. O.E. Sunday at the Naugle family home in Montoursville. They are members of St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, Montgomery.
Mrs. Naugle, the former Dorothy Kathleen Metzger, is a native of Alvira. She is the daughter of the late Mildred and Carson Metzger. She graduated from White Hall School, Washington Township. She has been employed by Sylvania Foto Flash, Lycoming Burial Vault Co. and Norge Village Cleaners, all of Montoursville, and Eastern Wood Products, Williamsport.

Mr. Naugle, a native of Berwick, is the son of the late Harold and Anna Parks Naugle. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1944. He retired in 1991 as the co-owner of Lycoming Burial Vault Co.
They are the parents of a son, Ernest L. and a daughter, Glenda A. Heyd, both of Montoursville. There are five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
