Lewisburg Lights to hold 5K at park
LEWISBURG - Lewisburg Lights will hold their 5K at 8 p.m. Friday at Hufnagle Park.
The event is open to all competitors. The race will be scored and chip timed by PARunners.com.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female as well as the top three male and female athletes.
Registration may be made at www.golara.org. Proceeds will benefit the Lewisburg Area Recreation Authority's parks and programs.
Benefit dinner rally to be held
ROARING BRANCH - A motorcycle rally and benefit dinner will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Retreat Center.
Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m. The dinner begins at 4 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Butcher family.

Cruise-in dates set
A Harvest Moon Cruise-in will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Moon Plaza, along Route 220, Linden.
In case of rain, the cruise-in will be held at the same time on the following Sunday.

Milton VFW plans Chinese auction
MILTON - The Milton Veterans of Foreign Wars will host a Chinese auction to benefit cancer patient Gloria Hoedle on Oct. 3.
The doors will open at 10 a.m. and the drawing will be held at 2:30 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to win.
Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.
