ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a 2-year-old girl was killed and a 3-year-old injured when a dresser toppled onto them.

Officials in Beaver County say rescue crews in Aliquippa were called to the home shortly before 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Mayor Dwan Walker said emergency responders performed CPR on both girls before rushing them to the hospital.

Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi said Brooklyn Beatty was pronounced dead at Heritage Valley Beaver hospital.

The other girl was taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where her condition wasn't immediately available.
