Albright LIFE Lycoming-Clinton, the area's only Adult Day Health Center, will host its monthly Caregivers Support Group from 2 to 3:30 p.m. today at its 901 Memorial Ave. facility.
The group is open to anyone caring for an older person and attendees are encouraged to share their experiences and concerns.
Facilitated by Albright LIFE Social Workers Allison Brion and Fran Decker, caregivers will learn about community resources and coping mechanisms needed to meet the challenges of caring for a loved one.
Albright LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) is a community-based program that allows individuals who meet nursing home eligibility criteria to live safely and independently in their own homes. LIFE participants receive medical, social, nutritional and rehabilitative services at Albright's Older Adult Daily Living Center and, when necessary, in their own home.
