Steve Saratowski and Mark Stiller have brought an inexpensive sports training program into the area for athletes of all ages. Speed to win is a training program that adds speed, agility and power to athletes of many different sports.
"We take athletes or kids that want to be athletes and expose them to this new system. SpeedtoWin is a designed progression course which works with flexibilty, 'sports explosion' (or quickness) and injury prevention," said Steve Saratowski, master trainer.
According to Saratowski, even though the training is held at the Fitness Factory, it is a completely different business from the gym.

Members of the SpeedtoWin program work out during the course at The Fitness Factory.
Saratowski and Stiller are the only master trainers in the area certified to deliver this type of training, according to Saratowski.
"Each station is a maximum effort, timed exercise with short rest periods in between. Each week the exercises get more intense while to rest time decreases. We closely monitor exercise technique and effort to get the most out of each station," said Steve Saratowski, master trainer.
According to Saratowski, clinics can be quite expensive. At two courses a week, the 12-week course has 24 sessions. With clinics, the sessions are delivered in short periods of time and techniques do not become natural.

With the duration of the lengthy course in SpeedtoWin, the techniques become a habit because the students have been doing the training over and over. "We are able to design these habits and the habits stay with them over time," Saratowski said.
There are three separate courses offered. There are eight, 10 and 12 week courses, costing $7 per class at two classes per week.
The training duo is able to train both small and larger groups. Teams trainings are welcome and groups of more than 15 people may be eligible for a discounted rate.
The program hours are adjustable. Due to schools being in session, evening hours are available. Other class times are negotiable as well.
Individuals interested in the revolutionary program may contact the Fitness Factory at 322-2348.
