Thank you Dan Alters via Hughesville. Obviously you have seen and really understand what is going on in just about all the state forests throughout the state of PA. Some folks on here do not and never will see what is happening. I'm with you, "Keep these lands wild" "KEEP IT WILD" Stay out of the OLP and Rock Run.

I think Erik was struck with the "see a name, automatically disagree syndrome". Couldn't we all take the time to read posts disagreeing? If you disagree, say why.

I agree with Rick and Erik. My understanding is that the state does not own the mineral rights to the property. Are the taxpayers of the Commonwealth willing to pay whatever it takes to get the owners of these rights to sell them back to the state to prevent drilling?

So Chuck, if you already know there is something that could sway you, and you won't acknowledge what it is, does that make you an imposter or a hypocrit?

Chuck, is their anything that can be said that would sway you or others like you to the benefits of drilling?

DCNR is in a tough position on this. The division of land and resource rights complicates the process.

There are some things DCNR, and the people of PA, have a say in and some things they do not.

Finding an acceptable path forward will take some creativity and unorthodox thinking on everyone's behalf.

"Ms. Arianne Proctor did a fine job explaining what DCNR has done thus far to examine the proposal by Anadarko to drill on State Forest Lands."

Mr. Alters could you elaborate on the pros/cons of the Anadarko proposal.

Very good letter, I doubt it will sway those who approve of what the state and the gas companies are doing .
