Aren't you the same Anita C. Leahy that posted a comment on Facebook about the recent suicide of the young girl in South Williamsport, referencing; her friends being "Too Late"? All because they posted likes to a page! These people posted likes because they were/are friends of the young girl. Unfortunately an event happened, but I'm sure if people could of stopped something they would have. Maybe nobody knew how this girl felt or what was on her mind. Maybe you as the caring Teacher you are, should have recognized the signs. How about you spend your time doing better things instead of Facebook and go help young people in need! Your teaching skills could use some work too, I can see my tax dollars are wasted on You!!! Another one of your quotes" Get a grip and go be a friend to someone who needs you".

Why do we place so much weight on letters written to the editor or get so bent out of shape about their contents? A forum for thoughtful and intelligent discussion can rarely be found on the LTE page. Unlike other more credible newspapers, the Letters to the Editor at the S-G are not screened (or even spell-checked, let alone fact-checked), they're written by folks with no credentials, and are often authored by the same blubbering idiots.

'Living with a Disability', June 3, 2013. There was also a story in the paper about this young man and his life.
