autism is a real and sometimes devastating disorder, however wonderful children can blossom with the right kind of understanding and training. society is the real problem i believe.. people with any kind of disablity get looked down upon by a lot of jerks in society. with lots of support and acceptance successful and wonderful people rise above and beyond their disability. many years ago, however, you never heard of these things. the one that gets me the most is the ADHD disability and the people that insist they need free money to support that person with adhd. when we were growing up, GOOD stern parents and a warm butt, with a little education about respect, and fear of consequenses were the answer to that disorder.. if there were more parents like our parents, thered be less of that adhd stuff. and a lot of times, some try to use the autism and adhd challenge to get free money which, is just wrong, and makes the child a bigger target for bullying. hope many go to this show.
