No Laughin....Ladydawg told someone to clean up their dump and it would appear someone is slightly upset about the money it is going to cost them to do so.....

Kudos to Mr.Shierman and Mr. Miller for moving forward. I wonder how much savings could have been seen if this process wasn't put on rumble strips for so long?

As for the comments, they are all over the table. The big and bad card was trumped and I wonder why? What I find amazing Carebear is that we have someone who was appalled at some of the things she saw and is telling us from behind her computer that our children's (grandchildren) best interests are not served in these schools. Is there something others need to know?

Amazing how people feel the need to belittle others to feel big and bad, such a shame they feel the need to hide behind a computer

My kids will be going to charter/private because I have worked in Jersey Shore School district and was appalled at some of the things I saw. I just don't feel Jersey Shore has the kids interest at heart. How are they going to bus Nippenose students to the new elementary. I'd really hope they wouldn't try to put a kindergardner on the bus with kids twice his/her age. It's just asking for more trouble than what already goes on with those buses. I just shake my head because I remember the school when I went there and it's nothing like it used to be.

I thought they closed that a year or two back and the Amish bought it like they bought everything else in the Valley? (they pay no taxes)

Ladydawg4, I never got the feeling it had much to do with money as a downsize in student enrollment. If you send your children to a charter the taxpayers will pay just the same as they do now and if you send them to a private institution you pay. I would check out the private school, best BANG for your buck.

This is why my kids will be attending Walnut Street or Sugar Valley. I don't know where JS get the notion that overcrowding the JS elementary school is beneficial to the kids. They just want their money and they don't give a crap who has to suffer....
