"Reeder and Hayes for 2016!! These guys can fix all of the worlds problems."

Gee, I'm flattered, but I'm afraid I have plans.

“that wish to take away ALL of our rights in regard to firearms.”

A bit paranoid, eh? When has this administration ever breached the subject of taking away guns? Ever? During Obama’s first term, the subject of guns never came up, and it wasn’t until 20 kids had their heads blown off that many, many people, conservatives and progressives alike, began engraining in dialogue about changes that would make our children safer. Taking away the right to own guns was never an issue.

“Or sift thru a burned building looking for their ashes. I guess it's just a matter of what suits Eric Holder at the time.”

Boobie, I see your employing your dissociative logic again, which, of course, you only use against progressives in a biased barrage of five-and-dime assertions. By your logic, one could shift the paradigm and assert: “Or sift through the rubble of the Twin Towers while looking good for the Camera, after he failed to act on the August 6th PDB. I guess it's just a matter of what suits George Bush at the time.”

See how easy the game is when you don’t employ reasonable logic?

Tedeaux - I clicked agree. I can image a 7 year old fighting most of your battles for you. Sorry earlier about my reference to masculinityy. That extra y there is a typo...in case you need to further fortify your argument or something. Cheers mate.

No John, owning a gun is an American right guaranteed by the second amendment of the Constitution. You can forfeit that right by committing certain crimes or otherwise be mental defective and no amount of your crappy reasoning is going to change that FACT! If you ever owned a firearm you might have understand how bizarre your reference to masculinity is! I'm fairly certain my seven year old could still whip your butt with or without you owning a firearm! Besides, we, the American legal gun owning public or not the folks demanding a change in YOUR constitutional rights, it is you, that wish to take away ALL of our rights in regard to firearms and you have the audacity to question a gun owners masculinity just because they own a firearm! Get a life, you leftwing Commie Pinko!

JohnWilsonKlees - well said.

I would hope all of us can find some middle ground on this issue. I support the 2nd amendment, hunters, etc., but why the uproar at background checks at gun shows, or mediating the size of magazine rounds?

Maybe we just take a moment to look at our children, and then picture them on the ground with two exit wounds to their face. Perhaps this would bring a little perspective to the argument(s).

Those who support automatic weapons despite the obvious destruction they cause are nothing more sad men who've chosen to define their manliness or self-worth in something else than to develop it within themselves, or just extremely gullible , maybe just pathetic and sad; that might be easier to digest. They argue about the right to own gun; It's not a right it's a privilege; that’s why people in prisons (other than guards) don’t have them. Having a Ak-47 or .50 cal sniper rifle isn't going to stop the government from coming into your house if they want to. Their trained to smoke out insurgents; you’re not going to last very long no matter how big your big your ego is. Technology has changed a bit since 1776 and the argument to protect yourself against the government with is pretty much out the window; hope you can build a sturdy bomb shelter with good ventilation.Everything has it’s place and you have no place owning an assault weapon if you can’t join the military or a SWAT team.

"These statistics, like most of the right wing info on guns, are a lie."

Mr. Hoffman makes a statement like that and then turns right around and tells this whopper?????

"The fact is, all mass murder shootouts are made with semi-automatic weapons."

Another liberal liar......
