Driver injured in crash
The driver of this car was taken by ambulance to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro Thursday after his car slid off Bailey Creek Road, Rutland Township, which was wet from a rain shower, and hit a tree in front of the house in the background. Big Elm Volunteer Fire Department, Daggett and Mansfield Hose Co. responded to the scene of the 11 a.m. crash. Further reports were not available at press time.
