Milton girl, 16, injured by moving vehicle
MILTON — A 16-year-old Milton girl suffered moderate injuries after she was hit by a vehicle at 3:40 p.m. Sunday along Route 405 in West Chillisquaque Township, according to state police.
The girl, whom police only identified as a pedestrian, apparently ran into the path of the vehicle, police said. She was taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
The driver of the vehicle, James L. Stehr Sr., 61, of Watsontown, and his three passengers were not injured, police said.
The car’s passenger side mirror was damaged in the collision, police said, adding that no citations are pending against the teen.
Intoxicated man head-butted state trooper, police say
A city man was jailed on assault-related charges after he allegedly head-butted a state trooper in the face in the 1500 block of Randall Circle about 12:20 a.m.
Lycoming College student held for court on simple assault and conduct charges
While dismissing the most serious offenses in the case, a district judge ruled Friday that there was enough evidence to hold a Lycoming College freshman on other city police charges stemming from a confrontation with a college security officer.

Police stun alleged dealer into submission
An alleged drug dealer who tried to flee from police was taken into custody late Wednesday night after a state trooper used a stun gun on him, according to court documents.
