The Chain to perform Fleetwood Mac at CTL
If you were lucky enough to grow up in the ’60s and ’70s, chances are, whether it was during a car ride with the radio blaring or while sharing a dance with someone special at the high school prom, you’ve probably heard a song or two by Fleetwood Mac. Besides the obvious — all of their hits — the band’s ability to experiment with various musical styles is one of the reasons Fleetwood Mac is one of the world’s top-selling bands. The Chain, who performs songs that feature the talents of Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and others, will make their Williamsport debut at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Community Theatre League, 100 E. Third St. Members of The Chain have been making music together in various combinations and styles, in original outfits and in cover bands for more than 25 years.
