Learn how to create a backyard oasis for wildlife
April 5, 2008

BERWICK ä Welcome spring by learning how to convert your backyard into a haven for wildlife at a program from 10:30 a.m. to noon April 5 at PPLás Susquehanna Riverlands.

Tanya Dierolf, environmental education coordinator with the Luzerne County Conservation District, will provide advice on how to attract your wild neighbors by providing food, water and shelter for them. Create an oasis that you will both enjoy for years to come.

The program, which is free and great for all ages, will take place at the Susquehanna Energy Information Center. For more information and directions, contact the Susquehanna Riverlands at (866) 832-3312 or pplpreserves@pplweb.com.
