South vs. Williamsport 3rd inning update

May 14, 2011 - Chris Masse
South third: Carpenter strikes out. Gantz walks. Orgitano hit by pitch. Eck walked. Missigman grounds into a double play to second base. Williamsport third: McCormick flies out to center field. Schneider flies out to center. Levering pops out to second.

South 000--0 3 0 Williamsport 200--2 3 1 Tyler House, Alex Carpenter (1) ande Kyle Eck. Jared Fagnano and Josh McCormick.

Notes: South coach Shawn Finn can only shake his head after Williamsport second baseman Jeremy Rall turns an inning-ending double play. South has stranded six baserunners, costing itself a chance to take an early lead. Carpenter has been outstanding, retirning all batters he's faced since entering in the third inning. This is shaping up to be a dandy.
