We have a winner! Autographed Dean Koontz book contest

What a blast! Thanks to everyone who stopped by Barnes & Noble in Altoona and registered for the Dean Koontz giveaway.

And to everyone who joined us at B&N, Altoona, on Saturday, October 24, for story time with Spot The Dog and the drawing of our winning names.

Elin Woods, my rockin’ assistant, not only volunteered to read two books for story time: “Black Cat Creeping” and “The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything” but she dressed up as a scary witch to match a bunch of the kids who also showed up in costume.

B&N has a new supply of “a big little life” in now for you to fill all your gift-giving needs. And, you can feel good knowing that all proceeds from the book go to Canine Companions for Independence, the organization that helps people with disabilities become more independent with the aid of a trained service dog.

Anyone who knows me, can verify that I mean it when I say I wish everyone who entered could have won. Your participation meant so much!

Congratulations to our winners!
