Just got a voicemail from somebody unhappy with one of my stories. He goes on and on with false accusations that could have been cleared up if he talked to me...one problem. He didn't leave a name or contact information.
It's not the first time this has happened and probably not the last time this has happened either via phone or email. But, please, if you have a concern about something you read in the paper don't hide by not leaving a name or a number. If you have an opinion that's great and we'd love to hear it but say who you are and leave a contact address or number.
And please, can we stop with the accusations about being biased or having ulterior motives. Give me a break. We root for exciting games and that's it. Stop this unsubstantiated nonsense about thinking we prefer certain teams to others.
We love hearing from our readers, but we also want to communicate with them if they have concerns. So just don't scream from the rafters and then run and hide and not give anyone a chance to respond.
Let's work together and clear up the concerns you have next time.
